A sustainable future needs innovation heroes

That’s why we’re looking for real get-togethers with motivation and innovation in their blood, so that we can work together to advance the energy transition.

We’re already looking forward to welcoming our curious young talents at Future Day 2024, who will get a firsthand look into our everyday work! We combine hands-on craftsmanship with administrative tasks—and, of course, pizza and good vibes :) By the way, a few spots are still available!

Not sure what Future Day is? “Future Day” (Zukunftstag) is a special day in Germany that gives students in grades 5 to 10 the chance to explore different careers and work environments. Usually held once a year, it allows young people to spend a day at a workplace of their choice, gaining hands-on experience. They are often accompanied by a parent, relative, or mentor.
The goal of Future Day is to introduce young people early to the variety of career opportunities and help them make informed decisions about their future profession. By interacting directly with different jobs, students can get a first impression of what activities interest them and what doesn’t. They can ask questions, try out tasks, and develop a better understanding of the requirements and opportunities in various professions.
Future Day is supported by many companies, government offices, research institutions, and other organizations that open their doors to young visitors. This gives students the chance to experience work environments firsthand and gain a realistic view of different career fields. These experiences can help them recognize their interests and talents and guide them in planning their future.
And of course, it’s hard to find a day as fun as it is with us ;) Overall, Future Day strengthens students’ career decision-making skills and better prepares them for the transition from school to work. It’s an important part of career orientation and empowers young people to actively explore their own professional possibilities.
