STATCOM inverter

The STATCOM converter enables highly dynamic power factor correction in power transmission networks, helping to reduce efficiency losses caused by transformers or long line networks.

Furthermore, the STATCOM converter offers the possibility of voltage stabilization by controlled provision of capacitive and inductive reactive power. Voltage measurement can be performed directly at the inverter terminals or at a higher network level with high-speed data transmission.

The STATCOM inverter can additionally reduce harmonics caused by non-linear loads.
