Freqcon multisource inverter

The Freqcon Multi-Source Converter (MSC) is a hybrid converter. This technology is a breakthrough in today’s microgrid and hybrid energy market. Multiple energy sources (wind, PV, batteries, fuel cells, etc.) can be connected to a common DC bus of the MSC. Installation and investment costs are thus reduced, overall efficiency is increased, and better system integration is made possible.

With the reliable, robust and fully integrated Freqcon Energy Management System (EMS), any project-specific energy management strategy can be implemented. The Freqcon MSC is an on-grid and off-grid converter that has the ability to stabilize the grid through active frequency and voltage support. It is compatible with almost all energy storage technologies available on the market, such as lithium-ion, lead-acid or redox-flow batteries. With the Freqcon MSC, several storage technologies can also be connected in parallel to one and the same inverter.

With a 20-year service life, with medium-voltage components specifically matched to the project, and integrated into a standardized 20-, 30- or 40-foot container, the Freqcon Multi-Source Converter offers the ultimate solution for global hybrid and microgrid applications. When it comes to hybrid or microgrid projects in combination with a storage and grid stabilization, the Freqcon MSC is hard to beat in quality and flexibility!
