Safe and reliable speed monitoring with FREQCON modules

FREQCON has developed a system for safe speed monitoring of wind turbines, which is already being used successfully in many plants. The system, consisting of the Overspeed Module OSM and G-Speed modules, redundantly and diversely monitors the rotor speed to an adjustable limit value.

Safe and reliable monitoring of vibrations with FREQCON modules

FREQCON has developed a system for safe vibration monitoring of wind turbines, which is also already being used successfully in many WTGs. The system consists of two Nacelle Accelerator Sensor NAS sensors.

All modules are approved according to DIN EN ISO 13849-1:2008 ” Safety-related parts of control systems” and according to the “GL Guideline for the Certification of Wind Turbines” for safety functions up to PL “d”.
