E-world in Essen
The E‑world energy & water in Essen (February 2024) gave FREQCON the opportunity to showcase on an international stage how our technologies contribute to a stable, efficient, and future-oriented energy supply. With 923 exhibitors from 30 nations and over 30,000 trade visitors, the event set new records and reinforced its role as a central networking and information platform for the industry. At our booth, we presented our inverter and energy storage solutions and held intensive discussions with visitors. The numerous forums and conferences provided the chance to discuss current trends, best practices, and innovative business models, as well as to develop new ideas for future projects. The high internationality of the event, with attendees from 72 countries, highlighted the global nature of the energy industry. The Career Day also demonstrated the importance of nurturing young talent, as we engaged in exciting conversations with students and young professionals. Once again, E‑world showed us how dynamic and international the energy sector is, and how concrete solutions for storage, grids, and flexible energy supply are already becoming reality today.
The smarter E Europe in Munich
The smarter E Europe 2024, held from June 19 to 21 in Munich, once again provided FREQCON with the opportunity to present our technologies for a continuous, reliable, and renewable energy supply to an international professional audience. With over 110,000 trade visitors and 3,048 exhibitors, the event set new records and highlighted the growing interest in storage technologies and grid stability. In particular, ees Europe, celebrating its 10th anniversary, emphasized the central importance of battery storage for 24/7 energy supply. At our booth, we showcased our converter and energy storage solutions and engaged with both existing and new customers. The innovative concepts in the “Start-up Area” underscored the dynamism and creativity of the industry. The fair clearly demonstrated that the energy transition is advancing and that storage technologies and digital solutions play a key role. For FREQCON, smarter E Europe 2024 was a valuable opportunity to present our expertise in grid stabilization and energy storage while strengthening international dialogue.
Work + Life in Bad Fallingbostel
From September 19 to 21, the “Work+Life” trade fair for apprentices and job seekers took place in Bad Fallingbostel, once again bringing together numerous visitors and companies from the region and beyond. The fair has developed into a key event for students, career changers, re-entrants, and apprentices who want to learn about professional opportunities, career paths, and the important topic of work-life balance.
The event aimed to support young people from the region in making career choices and to facilitate direct contact with potential training companies and educational institutions. At the same time, it placed a strong focus on the balance between work and leisure—an aspect that is becoming increasingly important, especially for the current generation of job entrants.
The “Work+Life” fair in Bad Fallingbostel offered young people guidance for their professional future, with a particular focus on work-life balance in an increasingly digital and dynamic working environment. More than 155 exhibitors from industry, crafts, services, healthcare, and education presented a wide range of apprenticeships, dual study programs, and career opportunities, complemented by hands-on interactive stations. Expert lectures, workshops, and testimonials from apprentices provided valuable insights into applications, digitalization, flexibility, and maintaining a healthy balance between work and personal life.
The parent and student information evening specifically involved parents in guiding their children’s career orientation. Direct interactions with companies, HR representatives, and parents facilitated networking, internship opportunities, and new contacts for future career paths. For FREQCON, the fair was an excellent opportunity to present the company, inspire young talent, and recruit three new interns for its own talent development program.

Hydro 2024 was not only a major event, but also an outstanding platform for the exchange of innovative ideas and forward-looking technologies in the field of hydropower. As a first-time exhibitor at this specialized trade fair, we look back with great satisfaction on an all-around successful appearance.
Our exhibition stand attracted not only a large number of industry professionals, but also served as a meeting point for in-depth discussions and valuable conversations. A particular highlight was the presentation by our expert Christoph Broers, who showcased the pioneering integration of hydropower plants with our Ultracapacitor Grid Stabilizer (UGS) system.
