With BESS MAX, FREQCON offers a flexibly expandable energy storage system that combines our FREQCON Multi-Source Converter (MSC) with particularly safe lithium-ion battery storage systems. Thanks to our decades of experience in the development and production of high-quality energy solutions and our collaboration with leading Tier 1 battery manufacturers, we are able to create powerful and reliable storage systems. The result: a tailor-made solution that can be adapted precisely to the requirements of your project – efficient, safe and future-proof.

When developing BESS MAX, we focused on two key principles: modularity and scalability. Whether a project requires 10 MWh or 100 MWh of storage capacity – in industrial applications or utility-scale projects – the system can be flexibly adapted to meet specific customer requirements.
BESS MAX can be deployed either as a compact containerized solution or with outdoor battery cabinets, depending on the project setup. A high level of corrosion protection up to corrosion class C5 ensures that the energy storage system remains reliably protected even in demanding environmental conditions.

In addition, FREQCON converters offer flexible compatibility with various battery chemistries and voltage ranges, ensuring that the system remains future-proof throughout its entire lifetime.
