Yesterday we had a visit from Christian Meyer (top candidate) and Wulf Hemmerle (direct candidate of district Walsrode) from Bündnis 90/ Die Grünen. During a tour of our production hall, we took a look behind the scenes of manufacturing and presented our products. The discussions also focused on the implementation of the energy transition and the associated challenges. Above all, however, we made it clear once again how important and urgent it is to cut red tape for the realization of renewable energy projects. We have also made clear the important role that the combination of wind power plants and battery storage can play regarding the contribution to flexibility and for grid stabilization services.
Now we hope that, with regard to the upcoming state elections in Lower Saxony, our wishes and demands will be integrated into the political discussion and that joint, implementable solutions for the climate crisis will be developed quickly.
