Cooperation Workshop

As part of a workshop, our cooperation partners from Germany and abroad learned about the product portfolio of FREQCON.
In addition to technical details and practical field reports from different markets, practical aspects were not missed.

During a test setup in our test field, a power failure was simulated. Power supply was taken over from an energy storage with ultracapacitors and a diesel genset.

We developed a technical solution that provides for an uninterrupted production: FREQCON U-UPS. U-UPS means Ultracapacitor Uninterruptible Power Supply and is able to compensate process interruptions resulting from grid failures. The system automatically reacts to a „grid event“ and takes over the load supply using the integrated energy storage. This system disconnects from the public grid within 20 msec by means of the FFD (FREQCON Fast Disconnector) and establis­hes its own isolated network.
