FREQCON at the WindEnergy trade fair in Hamburg

The WindEnergy takes place in Hamburg every other year and is the meeting point of the global on- and offshore wind industry. As in previous years, FREQCON could be found among the 1400 exhibitors from 40 countries. According to the exhibition corporation this year`s exhibition saw 35,000 visitors, 45% of those were international visitors.

As one of the leading manufacturers for electrical systems for wind turbines FREQCON presented a range of cost-effective and flexible solutions. The main focus was on the modular and highly efficient MSC power converter system and the real-time capable control system based on the Integrated Control Concept.

„Our power converter systems are certified based on the German and several European grid codes, this is a great advantage for our customers“, explains sales manager Gregor Scheppelmann. „We are also compliant with the new VDE guidelines which govern the implementation of the 2019 EU guidelines“.

„The exhibition was a great success, we were able to meet with existing business partners as well as making new contacts in the industry. It is also important to hear about the different challenges of wind projects on an international level, these information feed back into our product development process“.
