Development and demonstration of battery-ultracapacitor hybrid storage system for grid stabilization and enabling of high renewable penetration.

- Demonstration of ultra-fast frequency stabilization in microgrids based on ultracapacitors.
- Demonstration of STATCOM-capabilities for dynamic voltage stabilization.
- Smart PV-integration with lead-carbon-battery storage for peak-shifting.
